Job Summary:

The Program Director is responsible for oversight of the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) program and development and management of the new Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. This includes oversight of curricula, evaluation of faculty, assessment of learning outcomes, and overall enhancement of program quality. The Program Director will also assist the Dean with the hiring of qualified full-time and adjunct faculty and is expected to teach six courses throughout the academic year. This administrative faculty position reports to the Dean of Graduate Studies. The Program Director’s responsibilities include the following.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide overall management of the MAOL and MBA programs throughout the year, in accordance with the vision and mission of Toccoa Falls College.
• Develop the new MBA program, including course content and assessment processes.
• Collaborate with the Dean of Graduate Studies and other departments regarding the marketing, recruitment, and admission of MAOL and MBA students.
• Oversee advising of MAOL and MBA students and help ensure that they have a good experience in their respective programs.
• Assist the Dean with the hiring and supervision of qualified full-time and adjunct faculty.
• Annually evaluate learning outcomes for courses and the MAOL and MBA programs in accordance with the College’s evaluation and assessment procedures.
• Oversee program growth and quality enhancement.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with faculty, chairs, and deans to facilitate communication, learning, collaboration, and innovation.
• Participate in the Graduate Studies Committee and other committees as a TFC faculty member.
• Teach six graduate courses each year and develop/revise curriculum as needed to align with accreditation standards.
• Attend relevant conferences to maintain currency in the field.
• Attend required meetings (e.g., faculty meetings, committee meetings, commencement).

Job Requirements:
• Professed faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to live according to Toccoa Falls College’s Statement of Faith and lifestyle values;
• Broad understanding of higher education online teaching and learning, particularly in small classes and with self-directed learners;
• Current knowledge of online instructional technologies appropriate to graduate higher education;
• Robust understanding of the principles of student assessment;
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship in the field of Business;
• A proven track record of effective collaboration with different departments and stakeholders;
• Experience with teaching from a Christ-centered perspective within a Christian educational institution;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Doctoral degree in Business Administration and a minimum of five years of experience in higher education required. A minimum of two years of experience in online education is necessary.
