IACE earns Excellence in Giving Certification

Fort Worth, Texas — The International Alliance for Christian Education has earned certification from Excellence in Giving, an organization that evaluates financial transparency in non-profit organizations.

Excellence in Giving, which is based in Colorado Springs,  evaluated 175 data points in making its decision. Among them: the organization’s strategy, leadership structure, and financial and impact data.

“We think this certification will send the message to our members as well as our donors about our commitment to do things the right way,” IACE president David S. Dockery said. “This is a good step forward for our young but growing organization.”

According to its website, Excellence in Giving is “a full-service philanthropic advisory firm that increases the joy and impact of high-capacity donors by discovering their purpose, evaluating potential grantees, optimizing gifts and celebrating impact.”

“Organizations like IACE indicate their commitment to donor transparency when they provide the detailed information requested during our process,” managing director for Client Services Jessica Bocker said. “When an Excellence in Giving client considers supporting a nonprofit, our Analytics provide the confidence needed to move forward with a decision.”

The IACE is a global education network encompassing institutions, academic organizations and partners. It represents Christian education at all levels.

The current membership includes 61 full-member educational institutions and 18 full-member organizations and partners. In addition, two institutions are affiliate members and one organization holds an affiliate membership.
