IACE Adds Monthly Podcast on Integration of Faith and Learning
FORT WORTH (February 7) IACE has debuted “Integration,” a monthly podcast featuring interviews with leading figures in Christ-centered education.
Episode One features IACE president David S. Dockery, and coincides with the opening day of the 2024 Annual Conference at the Riley Center on the campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Aaron Lumpkin, associate vice president for Spiritual Formation and assistant professor of theology at Missouri Baptist University, will host the audio interviews.
“We seek to further equip staff, faculty, and administration for the glory of God,” Lumpkin said. “So we will consider things like worldview and pedagogy, tradition and innovation, research and reflection, and of course, topics like leadership and service.”
Lumpkin says the inspiration for this podcast came at a previous IACE conference he attended, at which he heard President Dockery urge attendees to continue the important conversations that had started at the event.
“I describe integration as the process of bringing to bear the Lordship of Jesus Christ and our Christian faith with the comprehensive learning and teaching experience,” Lumpkin said. “This podcast will host conversations geared toward this end.”
The Integration podcast can be accessed here on the IACE website, but also through Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Listeners who want to submit questions, comments, or suggestions for future interviews may do so via email at podcast@iace.education.
