Job Summary:
The Department of Art at North Greenville University is seeking a Professor of Art to teach courses in Photography, Drawing, and Engaging the Arts through Visual Art. This position is a full-time position (12 month). This position will begin August 1, 2025. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:
• Teaching classes as assigned
• Advising students
• Recruiting events as assigned
• General faculty responsibilities including committee assignments
Job Requirements:
• Master’s degree in art
• Preference will be given to applicants holding a terminal degree
• Experience and a passion for teaching
• The willingness and ability to mentor students
• Evidence of successful recruitment and retention of students
• Evidence of leadership excellence within the school, community, and the profession.
• Evidence of scholarly potential
• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Visual Abilities: Read reports, create presentations and use a computer system.
• Hearing: Hear well enough to communicate with co-workers, and students.
• Dexterity, Grasping, Feeling, Write, type and use the telephone, copier, and computer systems.
• Mobility: Actively teach classes; move between departments and attend meetings across campus.
• Talking: Frequently convey detailed or important instructions and ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
• Cognitive/Emotional: Ability to critically think and concentrate.
