Job Summary:

The College of Education at North Greenville University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Doctor of Education (EdD) program. We seek a collaborative and mission-minded educator who will contribute to the core leadership curriculum across the program’s three tracks: PK-12 Educational Leadership, Higher Education Leadership, and Educational Ministry Leadership. This position requires the employee to be in-person at the Brashier Campus in Greer, South Carolina.

The successful candidate must hold a PhD or EdD in Education with an emphasis in leadership and have experience teaching graduate-level courses online. Preference will be given to applicants who have mentored doctoral students, served on dissertation committees (as chair, methodologist, or reader), and demonstrated leadership experience in public or private PK-12 schools, higher education, or educational ministry settings. A record of scholarly research and a commitment to the integration of faith and learning are highly valued. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Job Responsibilities:

Teach graduate-level, online courses in the core curriculum of the Doctor of Education program.
Develop and revise courses that integrate a biblical worldview and reflect current best practices in educational leadership.
Advise and mentor EdD students, including active involvement in dissertation work and service on dissertation committees.
Engage in scholarly research and contribute to publications in educational leadership and the integration of faith and learning.
Serve as a spiritual and academic mentor, demonstrating Christian character in all areas of faculty life.
Participate in departmental responsibilities such as curriculum development, assessment, and strategic planning.
Contribute to university work through committee service and professional engagement.
Support student recruitment and retention efforts across all EdD program tracks.
Model excellence in online teaching and digital pedagogy.
Uphold the university’s ethical standards and lifestyle expectations in alignment with NGU’s Christian mission.
Affirm an understanding of, and willingness not to teach contrary to, the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.

Job Requirements:

A PhD or EdD in Education with a leadership emphasis from an accredited institution.
Online graduate-level teaching experience, preferably in doctoral programs.
Experience mentoring doctoral students and serving on dissertation committees.
Demonstrated leadership experience in PK-12, higher education, or educational ministry contexts.
A record of scholarly activity and commitment to ongoing research.
Strong communication skills and a collegial, team-oriented mindset.
Affirmation of and alignment with NGU’s mission, core values, and Statement on Human Flourishing.
Commitment to modeling and mentoring a Christian lifestyle consistent with evangelical faith.
