Job Summary:
This position manages undergraduate transfer evaluation and assists with other registration and records functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate and process undergraduate transfer and other applicable credit
Advise and approve all transfer prior approval requests
Undergraduate online course set-up and registration
Designated School Official for SEVIS
VA co-certifying officer
Michigan Transfer Network data maintenance (MiTransfer Pathways)
Michigan Transfer Agreement representative
Transfer Equivalency System data management
Classroom scheduling for non-academic use
Pre-registration forms and data management for incoming undergraduate students
Dual enrollment, and undergraduate non-degree and guest student registration
Shared office duties, such as completing registration changes, general office email monitoring, answering phones, and assisting walk-in traffic
Assists with Commencement activities
Other duties as assigned

REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports directly to the registrar.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may supervise student workers.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.) and other computer applications. Preferred experience working in a student information system.
Experience working in an educational organization is required, with higher education experience and/or working in a student services area is preferred.
