Job Summary:

The Natural Sciences & Mathematics Department at Toccoa Falls College invites applicants with a heart for Christian service and a love of science to apply for a full-time faculty position starting August 1, 2026. Important teaching responsibilities will be in the areas of Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology to support students in the Biology, Nursing and Science Education majors. Other subject areas include General Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Nutrition, Global Public Health, and Epidemiology, which support the degrees offered by Toccoa Falls College.

Job Responsibilities:

Faculty are required to prepare outstanding college/university-level learning experiences in the assigned Biology courses each semester using teaching tools such as PPT presentations, laboratory instruction, demonstrations, discussions, reading assignments, etc. Faculty must carefully plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction to optimize student learning. Faculty must also be able to provide feedback to students about their performance on class assignments in a respectful manner to help them improve their understanding, retention, and application of course content.

Job Requirements:
Applicant must be a spiritually mature Christian in agreement with the college statement of faith and committed to the vision, mission, and values of Toccoa Falls College.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree in Biology or an advanced degree in an allied field. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is highly desirable. Candidates with a Master’s degree and relevant experience are also invited to apply. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
