IACE Conference on Evangelism, Discipleship and Apologetics set for September 20-22

FORT WORTH - The International Alliance for Christian Education will host its first-ever conference on Evangelism, Discipleship and Apologetics September 20-22 at the Riley Conference Center on the campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

A tentative schedule for the event features prestigious speakers such as Robert Sloan, president, Houston Christian University; Ed Stetzer, dean, Talbot School of Theology; Matt Queen, interim provost, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Travis Dickinson, professor of philosophy, Dallas Baptist University; Robert Smith, professor of Christian preaching, Beeson Divinity School; and Hal Poe, Charles Colson Chair of Faith and Culture, Union University.

Several additions to the schedule are possible in the weeks ahead.

“In addition to the superb lineup of plenary speakers, there will be a number of practical workshop sessions for attendees, IACE president David S. Dockery said. “We are trusting that the Lord will use this conference to bring about a renewed commitment to faithful evangelism and serious discipleship by this generation of Christian college students.

The IACE already hosts an Annual Conference each February and a Faculty Development Conference in May.

Membership in IACE continues to grow. Founded in 2019, IACE membership now includes 74 educational institutions and 27 like-minded ministry partners around the world.

As with all IACE events, online registration is available on the organization’s website. The cost is $375 per person. Accommodations are available at the Riley Center or the nearby Hyatt Place TCU.
