Job Summary:

Great Northern University is a young (est. 2018) evangelical liberal arts university in Spokane, WA. It offers 6 B.A. programs, including Communication, as well as requiring 4 communication courses as part of the general education core. We are looking for an individual to cast vision for the Comm degree program and for the place of Communication in the curriculum as a whole, particularly with respect to today's digital communication environment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the B.A. in Communication degree program.
2. Teach upper division courses in the Comm program and (possibly) in the general education core.
3. Participate in the faculty governance of the university.

Job Requirements:

1. PhD in Communication or related field. ABD candidates welcome to apply.
2. Experience and/or expertise in digital communication
3. Commitment to the Great Northern University Code of Belief and Conduct.
4. Some teaching experience preferred
